SPARKHOUSE ANIMATION
As part of the Sparkhouse animation team, I was provided the opportunity to work on numerous episodes of Whirl, which is a series for kids that teaches faith lessons. I had a blast working on this show! My role as an animator meant I was taking the script and radio edit for an episode and bringing the visuals to life. Working primarily in After Effects I set up the scenes, staged characters and props, and implemented several passes of animation. After the polish pass came the revision phase in which all of the animators jumped around to different episodes that needed changes, so I worked on episodes that were animated by others as well.
Below are four episodes that I was the primary animator on. I also added the episode Magnificat: The Musical! as I made significant contributions to it in the revision pass.

LALO'S LUNCHBOX
As a freelancer I got the opportunity to work on a startup children's web series called Lalo's Lunchbox. It uses a combination of live action and animation to tell creative and entertaining stories that encourage both healthy eating and kindness to others. I was the visual designer of the animated portion of the show, from the environment to the characters. This was a welcome challenge for me, as in the past working on the Whirl series I was taking pre-built assets and character rigs, and the goal was to create something that was consistent with the existing branding of the show.
I was also the primary animator for most of Lalo's Lunchbox. The first episode, Lalo Becomes a Cartoon?!, was a solo venture, and I hired on an intern assistant for the other two to aid in asset preparation and crowd animation. I learned a lot working on this project and it was exciting to take the lead in so many different aspects of the production pipeline.
